6-Week Beginner Wheel Throwing Course Instructor: Aurelia Archibald Come play with clay and learn the pottery making process from a lump of clay to a finished piece. This course covers throwing on the wheel, trimming, handling and glazing! It's a hands-on course designed to provide you the skills necessary to make your own pottery. Although the clay likes to tell us what it wants to become, we will gradually learn to tell the clay who's boss with room to experiment and test it's boundaries. Classes usually start with a demo and are followed by practice session where the teacher will be available to help you with whatever stage of the process you are at. What's included: - Instruction/demos to throw, trim, glaze and make handles your pots with many tips and tricks from our experienced instructors. - Clay - Glaze - Tools - Firing SCHEDULE: Every Tuesday from May 6 to June 10 PICK UP: Pottery takes time to dry, glaze and fire. Please allow the studio 4-6 weeks from the final class date to fire your pottery. PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person.
Cancellation Policy
1. No Cancellations or Refunds: Once a class is booked, it is non-refundable and non-cancelable. We do not offer refunds, credits, or rescheduling for missed classes. 2. No Make-Up Classes: Due to limited class sizes and the nature of our sessions, we are unable to offer make-up classes if you are unable to attend your scheduled session. 3. Transfers: If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another person. Please notify us at least 24 hours before the class if you choose to do so. 4. Weather & Instructor Cancellations: In the rare event that we must cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances (such as severe weather or instructor emergencies), the class will be rescheduled. By booking a class, you acknowledge and agree to this No Cancellation Policy. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
