6-Week Handbuilding with Kate Garnet Russel - March 23 - May 4 (No class April 6) Ages 14+ Over 6 weeks, this class explore the foundations of handbuilding through slab building, pinch pots, and coiling, the core techniques that open the door to so many possibilities in clay. We’ll focus on creating pieces like mugs, jars, slump mould trays, chia pets, and more. You’ll be able to choose which projects you’d like to make, and Kate will guide you through each step from shaping and joining to refining and glazing so you feel confident with every technique. This class is hands-on, supportive, and beginner-friendly. It’s a chance to slow down, learn solid foundational skills, and create pieces you’ll actually love using or sharing. Class schedule: Week 1: Slump Mold Trays - Make serving trays with the use of a mold. Week 2: Slab with Template - Create mugs. Week 3: Flowers - Sculpt flowers for decorations. Week 4: Lidded Jars - Use slabs to create jars for any purpose. Week 5: Chia Pets: Design and create your own chai pet with drip tray. Week 6: Glazing

Cancellation Policy
1. No Cancellations or Refunds: Once a class is booked, it is non-refundable and non-cancelable. We do not offer refunds, credits, or rescheduling for missed classes. 2. No Make-Up Classes: Due to limited class sizes and the nature of our sessions, we are unable to offer make-up classes if you are unable to attend your scheduled session. 3. Transfers: If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another person. Please notify us at least 24 hours before the class if you choose to do so. 4. Weather & Instructor Cancellations: In the rare event that we must cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances (such as severe weather or instructor emergencies), the class will be rescheduled.
