Ages 14+ Learn how to make a fruit strainer shaped like a mug so you can easily transport your fresh fruit with you . We’ll go over how to build a functional strainer, add drainage holes and a solid handle. It’s the perfect project leading into summer and a fun way to get creative. Great if you want something a bit different. Open to everyone, whether you come solo or with friends, family, or a partner. What's included: - Clay - Tools - Firing PICK UP: Pottery takes time to dry, glaze and fire. Please allow the studio 4-6 weeks from the final class date to fire your pottery. You will be contacted via email. PLEASE NOTE: If your piece cracks or breaks in the kiln, don’t stress, it happens! Pottery is a delicate process, and things like trapped moisture, uneven compression, fast drying, or kiln quirks can cause it. We do everything we can to prevent it, but sometimes it’s just part of the process. Think of it as part of the journey. It happens to even the pros, and every piece is still a learning experience.
